What if I have questions before I sign up?

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards. Your card is saved at signup and only charged once your free trial ends.

What are video profiles?

Instead of just a resume, workers on Collars can upload photos and videos of their actual work — completed jobs, credentials, licenses, and work history all in one place. As an employer, you get to see what someone can actually do before you ever schedule an interview.

Do I have to sign an annual contract?

No. Essentials is available month-tomonth at $229/mo, or you can pay annually at $1,999/yr and save 20%. You're never locked into anything you didn't choose.

Can I cancel before the trial ends?

Absolutely. If Collars isn't the right fit, you can cancel before your 14 days are up and you won't be charged anything. No awkward cancellation calls, no hoops to jump through.

How does the free trial work?

When you sign up, you'll get 14 days of full access to Collars for Employers at no charge. We do ask for a credit card upfront, but nothing gets billed until your trial period ends — so you have two full weeks to post jobs, browse video profiles, and see how the platform works for your business before spending a dime.

What makes Collars different?

Collars is a profile and match-based hiring platform for skilled trades and blue-collar jobs, designed to connect tradespeople with businesses looking for top talent. Unlike traditional job boards, both candidates and employers must match, ensuring the right fit for both sides—just like a dating app, but for jobs. 

How does Collars work? 

Applicants create a profile showcasing their skills, experience, and job preferences, while employers list available positions and the type of candidates they’re looking for. Our patented algorithm connects applicants with employers, but both must accept the match before moving forward—eliminating wasted time and improving hiring success. 

How much does Collars cost? 

Collars is free for applicants! For employers, our pricing starts at $199/month.

Is Collars currently available?

The Collars app is coming soon! The app is expected to be available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store this fall.

What industries does Collars serve? 

Collars has jobs in the industries of construction, manufacturing, agriculture, transportation, and specialized service.

Is Collars only for non-union work?

Nope! Anybody can use Collars.

Is Collars meant for gig work?

No, Collars is for full and part-time W-2 employment.

What if I’m not getting matches?

No worries! Keep your profile updated with skills, certifications, and availability. New jobs are posted regularly, so your next match could be just around the corner.

What if I don’t have any experience?

Apprenticeships: a person who is learning a trade from a skilled employer, having agreed to work for a fixed period at low wages.
